Hire people who have a desire to serve others, and empower them to focus on providing an exemplary customer experience.  In many businesses, the focus of the team is misplaced.  This occurs most often when the leadership (owner or manager) creates a culture that is solely focused on their outcome, rather than upon the outcome of the customer.  Leadership is of utmost importance in every practice.  It is crucial for leaders to establish a vision for the practice that embodies service to its customers first, as a healthy practice will yield positive results to its owners if the leadership emphasizes satisfying customers.  Satisfied customers in a properly managed business creates a culture that will yield a healthy, growing enterprise.  Establish a strong focus in your practice upon satisfying customers!
